“Composed of the dramatic extremes of light and shadow, the “tenebrist” illumination that forms the environment of the paintings of Paula Saneaux produces a dark artwork that unquestionably has the capacity of illumination. It’s impeccably finished with a traditional technique, however, firmly planted in the contemporary vocabulary.
