Chavon’s Graduate shows at Funglode

Today at 7:00pm is the opening reception of her first solo show “Las Pracas” at the Art Gallery of Funglode.

Santo Domingo. Paula Saneaux, who graduated with extraordinary honors from Altos de Chavon, has her first opening reception at Funglode’s Art Gallery.

Saneaux got the highest GPA of the group that just graduated from Altos de Chavon School of Design, and she’s already packing her bags to continue her studies in Parsons The New School of Design in New York which is a prestigious school that awarded her a scholarship due her outstanding grades.

The show, titled “Las Pracas” includes 16 medium format paintings and a life size sculpture. It will start at 7:00PM at the Gallery of Funglode.

After earning a Bachelor in Advertising in Apec University, and having obtained the Summa Cum Laude title, she started studying Fine Arts in Altos de Chavon School of Design, where she got an Associate Degree in Fine Arts and Illustration. She also achieved Summa Cum Laude and at the same time was Valedictorian (the highest GPA of the entire group).

Recipient of a full tuition scholarship to complete her bachelor in Fine Arts at Parsons The New School of Design in New York, Saneaux has also earned a scholarship for summer classes at the same school.
